Cubism in Computer Graphics

A research project on Cubism in Computer Graphics.

The process was presented as a research poster at Symposium on Computer Animation (SCA) 2017 and SIGGRAPH LA 2017, where it won second place in the Undergraduate Student Research Competition. It was later expanded into a paper in IEEE Computer Graphics and Applications.

More recently, the techniques I developed for this project were used to create Nude Descending a Staircase No. 3 for the Milan-born artist Marco Brambilla. I, alongside Glassworks’ head of 2D Duncan Malcom, worked with Marco to fine tune the motion and aesthetic quality of my earlier research.
